The Token IO protocol is defined in a PIC chip, and is accessed vi a FTDI chip. This allows A/D operations to occur, and add ADC capability to the FTDI parts.

Since the start of this project began with a DLP-2232 part, with the 2232C FTDI part on it, here is an example of a test system that can be built using just one DLP-2232 part. The first is a block diagram of the whole system, and the second is simple break out schematic to be able to connect I/O via screw wire terminal.
